Duties & Responsibilities​

As a self-employed Jewellery designer, you’ll need to:

  • Hold consultations with commissioning clients.
  • Discuss a client’s range of options and formulate original ideas.
  • Sketch out ideas, sometimes using computer-aided design (CAD), to help the client visualize the finished design.

If you make Jewellery, activities will include:

  • Mounting – making the framework for the piece of Jewellery. This involves handling, forming and drilling metal, and opening out holes in which to place the selected gems.
  • Model making (casting) – making an object or decorative detail using a mold.
  • Stamping and presswork.
  • Chasing – making a raised pattern on the surface of the metal.
  • Soldering and fabrication.
  • Polishing – ensuring the finish of the piece.

You may also perform the following specialist processes, but often pieces of Jewellery are sent on to companies (outworkers) for these processes to be completed:

  • Stone setting – adjusting the mount to ensure the stones fit perfectly. This can involve very intricate work, such as removing tiny fractions of metal
  • Electro-plating – layering a precious metal onto a base metal
  • Enameling – fusing powdered glass to metal in a kiln to create colored patterns and pictures
  • Welding – joining pieces of metal using traditional methods or by laser
  • Engraving – carving lettering or patterns into precious metals by hand or by computer-aided manufacture (CAM).

Counseling

By having you hear, we are considering that you have gone through Program information and details carefully. To initiate the enrollment process you should fill-up the counseling form to book an appointment slot for you to get the brief information for the Program you wish to enroll for.

Online Application Form

Your application will be grateful to help us to learn more about you, once the Program has selected you will be required to fill-up an Online Application Form and submit those all required fields to evaluate your data and more. Once the application form will be received by EXELIQ team, you will be notified with a confirmation message by email.

Pay the Application Fee

Once your Application will be screened by EXELIQ team, you will be notified with the terms & conditions, Application Fees details and Payment link. You can either pay an Application fees online by following the payment link given in the email or pay an application fees in-person at EXELIQ Center.

Pre EXELIQ-Documentation

On Successful payment of Application Fee, it’s time to upload your documents. Please note, these photographs must be in JPG/JPEG format and not exceeding 2 MB in size.

  • Declaration Form: You are requested to download the Declaration form & fill in the required information. Please upload a scanned copy of the same.
  • Photograph: Upload a scanned recent passport photograph. It must be a coloured photograph taken at a professional studio. Photographs taken via mobile phone and other kinds of self-composed portraits will not be accepted.
  • 10th Mark-sheet: Upload a scanned copy of your 10th Mark-sheet. It must be self-attested by the student/parents.
  • Highest Qualification Document: Upload a scanned copy of your last highest educational qualification certificate, also if you have any technical qualification upload that too.
  • ID Proof: Photo ID proof can be your Aadhar Card or Pan Card or Passport.
  • PAN Card: Upload a scanned copy of your PAN card. If a student doesn’t own a pan card, request to upload anyone parents Pan Card.

Enrollment into Program

After receiving the Pre-required Documentations, our team at EXELIQ will carefully screen all your documents, once the screening process successfully done, you will be notified through the appropriate channel to pay your program fee and allocate your seat for the program by getting your Enrollment No.
